Changes To My Study Programme

 I have been studying Chemistry at the university for two years and the truth is that because of the pandemic I have not been able to know much about the faculty where I study and as we have online classes, I personally think that the way of teaching and approaching the contents in the different subjects has not been very good.

When I enrolled in this career and specifically in this university I looked at the mesh, it is quite complete, although I think it is a career that should not last 11 semesters. Well, I like the approach of the university because as I mentioned before it is very complete since many areas of chemistry are studied and it has very good electives, however I think that they are not taught as they should be, and if you can I know why we have online classes.

As I have not had many visits to the faculty, only for tests and some practical activities I still can not speak much about the infrastructure but from what I have known is quite nice place and the classrooms are quite spacious and the laboratories are well equipped.

I must say that I have not been to the labs much lately as they have had some problems.

Unfortunately I think it is a good university with very good teachers and that since everything is online I have not been able to take advantage of everything the faculty has to offer, honestly I have learned much less than I could have learned in person and I think it is partly because the way in which classes are conducted today makes me very distracted because many times the teachers only read what is on the screen and there is no more interaction so it is easy to lose focus and also I do not think it is good that the presence is possible only for evaluations and not for classes.

Anyway, I understand that this format of classes is difficult for teachers and students so I really hope to have "normal classes" soon.

I also hope that in the future they will not extend the duration of the courses so much.

Time travel to the future

 I would like to travel to the future, I do not know specifically in which year this will happen and if it is possible, but I would like to travel to the future at the time when the human being is able to travel to other planets and these are habitable.

Obviously I say all this from imagination, I think that for my age I will not get to know another planet, although nowadays a "trip to space" is already planned for normal people, I mean people who are not astronauts. I don't have the money for that, so I will have to keep waiting.

Well, ideally I would like to make that trip in time. 

I would also really like to travel to 2030, by then I will be 30 years old and honestly I would like to know if I am a good professional, I feel that going back to 2022 would help me a lot to work harder in college or if I am not that successful I would be very depressed 😢so good thing I won't know haha.

I hope that in the future there will still be a wide diversity of species, that the world will use clean energy and will not continue exploiting natural resources, I hope that there will not be a difference in social classes, that everyone will have access to health and education, that there will be no discrimination between people and that women will have to stop fighting for our rights because they will be guaranteed as well as those of minority groups.

My Future Job

 As a future chemist I would like to discover things and help to create new and more sustainable industrial methods, even though there was a time in my life when I wanted an office job and to have a fixed routine. Over time I have realized that I do not like office jobs because the routine bores me and depresses me a lot so ideally I would love to travel a lot and that these trips are compatible with my work.

The truth is that I have always liked research so I would really like to work in it, but for that I have to study a lot and obviously I have to finance these studies. 

I intend to work in the industry, ideally something that does not harm the environment.

I have always imagined myself as a researcher, giving lectures and classes, but I am afraid of not knowing how to explain what I want to teach, that is, science is very difficult to explain and even worse if I do not know how to express my ideas.

I know that to be able to travel and have the job I want to have is a very long road where a lot of effort and perseverance is required. Before I get to where I want to be, I will have to go through different jobs that I might not like so much, although I hope that because of the love I have for my career they won't be so terrible haha

Childhood Series c:

 

When I was a child I remember that one of my favorite series was Clifford, which basically tells the story of a red dog that grew up a lot. I used to watch this series with my parents because they liked it too. The truth is that I always wanted a giant dog like Clifford, with time they were making adaptations of the series but they were not as good as the original.

   Well besides that series I also liked Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, I always watched this series in the morning before going to school while I was getting dressed and having breakfast, without a doubt if they still showed this series in the morning before doing my routine I think I would be very happy haha my favorite character was Lola Boa obviously although Mr. Whiskers made me laugh a lot, anyway it makes me very sad to think that both were left in the jungle because they fell out of a plane and got away from their families, very sad.

One of my favorite series was Dexter's Laboratory and I swear that from that moment I was attracted to science and I always wanted to have a secret laboratory, well I would still like to have one, I also liked Jimmy Neutron. 

Well, besides other series like Tom and Jerry, SpongeBob among others. Leaving aside the animated series I really liked Zac and Cody, Malcolm in the middle and Lizzie McGuire.

If I were to talk about all the series that mean a good memory for me I would never finish.

My Pets 💞

Hi everyone, I have 2 pets; a cat named So
fia and a rabbit named Winter.

Sofia

My cat I adopted her in 2018, she is a very affectionate cat, you can pet her in the stomach and she will not bite you. Sofi came into my life when she was 6 months old and after 8 months she had kittens. She had 3 baby cats and I asked my mom if I could keep one of them and she said no😢 

My cat is very playful but only at 3am jaja😅 the rest of the day she sleeps. She likes to sleep next to me at my shoulders, the only bad thing is that I don't like to move while I sleep because I can wake her up.

Winter

My bunny Winter was given to me by my boyfriend in 2017 for my birthday, I named him Winter because he is white like a snowflake. Winter is very calm although sometimes he eats wires or things he finds around, he already broke two chargers of my phone. He doesn't live with me, since my house doesn't have much yard and since my boyfriend has a plot we decided to make him an outdoor cage with a house so he doesn't get cold.

I love my pets very much but I had a little dog named Zulema that I adopted last year and she died this year in January, I miss her very much.These have not been my only pets, when I was a child I had 2 dogs, Panchita and Cosita, they were mother and daughter and when they got old they passed away and I also had a cat called Gato

I miss my pets that are no longer with me and I love with all my heart the ones that are still in my life.

The Best Holidays

 

The best vacation I ever had was when I went to Máncora, Peru.

I went with my boyfriend in February 2020 for two weeks, we flew to Lima and then traveled by bus for 24 hours to Máncora.

The truth is a very nice beach but very hot. We ate a lot of ceviche and fish, the food was very tasty and cheap. We went swimming with turtles and toured nearby beaches until we reached Ecuador.

The best thing is that the sea water was very warm and in the hotel there was a pool where we could go swimming at night.

We met a Chilean couple who also stayed at our hotel and another French couple with whom we went out partying for a few days.

The only bad thing is that the bus ride was very long and there were many insects.

I think this is the best vacation because I was with my boyfriend and we met many beautiful places and people from many countries, besides that after this vacation the pandemic started and we had to stay at home since then.

France !💞

I would like to travel to France because I consider it a very beautiful country and I think the food is also very tasty.

In this country you can find the "city of love", Paris. Besides being a touristically attractive country there are many very good colleges and universities. One of the most important scientists, Marie Curie, studied and lived in this country.

Then I would like to visit many places in France, such as Paris, Notre Dame Cathedral and Bordeaux as they are very beautiful places with a lot of history, I would also like to visit all the museums, as there are many with famous works.

There is something that I really like to do, I like to eat so I would love to go to restaurants and maybe even take a cooking course. 

For these reasons I would really like to be able to live in France and study there. 

Well, for all this you need to know French obviously to be able to get a job and study.

I really hope to achieve all this one day.
